NEW CANAAN — Police arrested a 64-year-old Stamford man after he allegedly violated the condition of his release.
On May 4 around 7:30 p.m., New Canaan police went to Church Street on an active arrest warrant for Theodore Winski. The warrant was issued by the Department of Probation for charges of violating conditions of release.
New Canaan police took Winski into custody without incident and with assistance from Stamford police. Winski was transported to New Canaan police headquarters where he was processed and released on a $20,000 bond. He was issued a court date of May 18.
In June 2014, Winski was charged with impersonating a police officer in New Canaan.
Police said they didn’t have any further information on the warrant.
