NEW CANAAN — A Wilton woman was charged with driving under the influence after her car went off the road and got stuck in a ditch Friday night.
Police received a report of a car off the road on South Avenue around 10:42 p.m. Feb. 23. When the officer arrived, he reported an odor of alcohol on Katrina Rusin, 49, of Hollow Tree Place. After she failed field sobriety tests, Rusin was taken into custody. She refused a breath test at headquarters.
Rusin was also charged with failure to drive right and was released after posting a $250 bond. She is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court March 6.
