In Pictures: Fun times had at the East Elementary School Fall Fair Spooktacular

NEW CANAAN — It’s not often going to school is this fun, but Saturday’s East Elementary School Fall Fair Spooktacular made it so.

The Parent-Teacher Council’s largest fundraiser, it drew hundreds of residents in for a haunted house, a scary hospital, and a gaggle of ghostly games, including the Vampire Egg Hunt, Skeleton Scramble, and Black Cat Pitch.

“Everybody across the town comes to it,” said East School PTC co-president Jill Tobin. “I think it’s great because it’s run entirely by volunteers.”

Close to 200 people pitched in with make-up and face painting, cotton-candy making, bake sale items, and more.
