The annual New Canaan High School senior class fashion show, "College Campus Couture," that raises funds for the post-prom party takes place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29, in the auditorium.
The post-prom party is scheduled for 11:59 p.m. Friday, May 16.
The show will feature seniors modeling not just prom fashions but clothing for college as well.
On the night of the show and the week leading up to it, members of the committee will be collecting donations in the school's attendance office of gently used prom gowns and formal dresses as well as tuxedos, which will benefit Operation Prom/Stamford chapter. The organization helps low-income students attend their proms by providing free dresses and tuxedo rentals.
Donations of clothes -- which should be on hangers -- can be dropped off during school hours from 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Tickets for the show are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. They will be available for sale at the school from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 21, 24 and 28, or by visiting the Parent Faculty Association website, which is accessible via newcanaan.k12.ct.us.
