NEW CANAAN — A 39-year-old New Canaan man is facing charges for failing to appear in court after driving with a suspended license, police said.
On Oct. 23 around 8:20 p.m., police went to the Summer Street home of Carlos Velasquez to take him in on a warrant. Velasquez was wanted after he failed to appear on 2014 charges of driving with a suspended license.
Velasquez was taken into custody and charged with failure to appear in the second degree. He posted a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 6.
