New Canaan Career Transition Support will host Leonaura Rhodes, a New Canaan-based health and happiness coach, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge.
New Canaan Career Transition Support provides free, positive and informative assistance to those in job transition. It is run by volunteers from First Presbyterian and St. Mark's Episcopal churches in New Canaan.
Rhodes will discuss "The 5 Pillars to Career Transition Success," which will address:
evaluating the current situation and getting clear goals;
increasing and sustaining passion and energy for the career transition process;
creating a strategic plan of action that will increase chances of success;
remaining positive and persistent during the process;
becoming a career transition peak performer.
Rhodes, of the Neurofeedback Coach LLC, is the author of "Beyond Soccer Mom: strategies for a fabulous balanced life," as well as a United Kingdom-trained physician and the host of "The Busy Mom Show."
